Crews from the Nampa, Star, Caldwell, and Middleton Fire Departments are battling a grass fire west of the Northside Blvd. overpass (exit 35) in Nampa.
The fire was first reported about 10 a.m. Thursday.
“Smoke is causing low visibility across the Interstate, so we are advising drivers to use extreme caution,” said a Nampa Fire Department dispatcher.
Idaho State Police troopers are also on the scene, for traffic control.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
