An Idaho man convicted of three murders is asking for a reduced sentence.

The Lewiston Tribune reports 30-year-old John Lee has again filed motions asking for a shortened sentence. Lee was sentenced in May to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing three people and injuring a fourth in July of last year.

Lee is serving his time at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna.

He is also waiting for a response from the Idaho Supreme Court after filing an appeal in July. His plea agreement waived the right to appeal, but Lee is trying to get the plea agreement rescinded, among other things.

According to the motion, Lee is asking for a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
