A Castro Valley, California man is in the Ada County Jail, charged with kidnapping and felony lewd conduct with a child.
According to Boise Police Department spokesperson Haley Williams, police on Saturday received a report of a possile lewd conduct crime involving a child under the age of sixteen.
“Police made contact with the suspect and the victim that day,” Williams said. “After an investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct, they arrested the suspect, Zurel Turner.”
She said evidence indicates Turner and the victim had been together since approximately May 30th “and, on several occasions, the victim was held against her will,” Williams stated.
No further details were given.
Police are still investigating.
