Boise police are investigating a report of an attempted kidnapping at Ann Morrison Park near Americana Blvd on Saturday afternoon.
Around 3:30 pm. on Saturday, September 17, 2016, a mother was at the park near the swings with her 3-year-old son when she noticed he wasn't where she last saw him. She then saw a man carrying him on his shoulders and walking away from the park. She ran toward him and yelled at the man to put her son down. The man put the child down, then ran from the area.
The man is described as being in his mid-30's. He has dark skin and is about 6' 3" tall. He is also said to have a tattoo close to his eye.
Police were not able to find anyone in the park who witnessed the crime. Officers ask anyone with any information to contact police at 377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
