Boise Police invite all to 1st Annual Mark Stall Strength and Honor Challenge

Boise Police officers and members of the Fraternal Order of Police- Treasure Valley Lodge #11 would like to invite any and all exercise enthusiasts to the 1st Annual Mark Stall Strength and Honor Challenge.

The “crossfit” style workout, featuring the “Mark Stall Hero Workout," was organized to honor Stall, a Boise Police officer who was killed in the line of duty on September 20, 1997.  

The opening ceremony is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 25.  Workouts will be scheduled every 45 minutes throughout the day.  The workouts may be completed as prescribed or can be scaled down based on one’s fitness level. 

The event will be held at Camp Rhino Boise, located at 5244 W. Overland Road

All proceeds raised from the event will go directly to the Fraternal Order of Police- Treasure Valley Lodge #11 Benevolent Fund.  This fund is available to assist any law enforcement officer in the State of Idaho who is in distress, injured in the line of duty, and to support the families of fallen officers. 

The event is open to the public for anyone who would like to compete.  Anyone interested canclick here for more information.  Spectators are also encouraged to attend and watch and cheer on competitors.
