A Boise man has been arrested for DUI after being accused of driving the wrong way on I-184 and almost hitting an officer.

On June 4th at 1:05 a.m., a Boise Police officer was headed eastbound on the Connector near the Curtis exit and saw a vehicle headed the wrong way in the same lane as the officer.

The officer turned on his lights and applied hard braking. The vehicle that was headed the wrong way swerved around the officer and continued driving.

Police were able to stop the driver under the Emerald overpass.

The driver, identified as Justin Greer, 21, of Boise, failed a breath test with results of .266/.260. Greer also had a suspended driver’s license.

Greer was taken to Ada County Jail and charged with DUI—excessive (m) and driving without privileges (m).
