Homeowners living at 1196 W. Gold Street are lucky to be okay after a 14-year-old developmentally disabled boy drove a vehicle into their home.
Kuna Police were called to the home just after 9 a.m.
A resident living at the home told police that a car drove into their home and they were unable to get through the front door to see if the driver was injured.
Moments later, another 911 call came into police after a woman found a teenage boy wandering the streets with injuries.
The boy took his family’s car without permission and drove about six miles before losing control and hitting the home. After the crash, the boy ran from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.
The crash is still under investigation and no charges or citations have been filed at this time.
