X Games Boise Park Qualifier
June 9th & 10th, 2017 | 11AM – 6PM

The world’s top skateboarders and BMX riders converge on Rhodes Skate Park to compete for an invitation to X Games Minneapolis. The Park Qualifier is part of the Road to X Games series and will feature Men’s Skateboard Park, Women’s Skateboard Park and BMX Park. The top six athletes in the Men’s BMX and Skateboard disciplines will receive invites to X Games Minneapolis. The top four athletes in the Women’s Skateboard Park Qualifier in Boise will receive invites as well. Open to the public, don’t miss your chance to watch these world class athletes in action and help put the City of Boise on the map! 2017 World Village Fest
June 9th – 11th, 2017

This amazing 3-day festival located at the beautiful Capitol Park in Downtown Boise, includes participants representing our Mexican, Basque, Native American, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Bosnian, African, North and South America, Middle Eastern, Indian and Greek communities. Join locals as we celebrate Idaho’s vibrant multi-national community, come together at World Village to celebrate culture through music, art, food and people. 208 Tattoo Fest

The 208 Tattoo Fest is back! Featuring top local talent and artists from around the country. Meet Ink Master winners Joey Hamilton and Jason Clay Dunn, plus Heather Maranda from TLC’s Epic Ink and Megan Franklin from TLC’s Tattoo Girls. Stand For Table Rock

Table Rock is a symbol of our valley. Its incredible views and outstanding hiking and biking trails are an attraction for all those that live here, and for those who visit our beautiful city. Forge Your Potential, the City of Boise, the Idaho State Historical Society, and the East Boise Rotary Club are standing up. We’re on a mission to give back not only to Table Rock, but to all those who choose to enjoy it. We’re on a mission to bring awareness for the continued respect of our recreational areas, to ensure the generations following will have the same opportunity to enjoy those views, trails, and ultimately the memories they will create in the process. 3rd Annual Boise AIDS Walk

Join the 3rd Annual Boise AIDS Walk, an event benefiting those in Idaho. This is a 5K walk through the historic North End and parts of Downtown Boise. This is a family friendly event and all are welcome to attend. The money raised will go to help those who face the many medical needs, which cut deep into their pockets, but are a necessity. The money raised will go to assist in the areas of food and medical and living expenses. This support is invaluable, and makes a world of difference for both the life and well-being of someone living with AIDS. For more info, click here!

Gingerfest IV
June 9th, 2017 | 6PM – 10PM
Come to the Old Idaho Penitentiary to celebrate redheads! Show off your red hair, or just celebrate ginger fun with your friends and family. There will be tons of family friendly activities with a ginger theme. Random prizes will be given out throughout the night with special “Best Ginger” contests for both adults and kids. Kids Fishing Day at Gotts Point!

Have you always wanted to learn how to fish? Perhaps you’re just looking for another excuse to get in some more fishing? Then head over to Gotts Point and enjoy some free fishing! Celebrate Free Fishing Day at Lake Lowell’s Gotts Point, at the end of Greenhurst Road. Kids will have the opportunity to learn about fish biology, fishing ethics, water safety, and get in some practice casting and rigging before testing their skills in Lake Lowell. Nampa Art Collective

Amor Eterno will feature various local artists as part of the fundraiser Día en Downtown with Monique and Folklorico Ballet Mexico Lindo. (Tamales may be involved…) Artists who participate will help be re-doing the Chalk Bomb, due to the spring hail and rain. The Lowest Pair w/ Anna Tivel

The Lowest Pair features the duo banjo picking of Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee, draped in Kendl’s high lonesome harmonies and Palmer’s Midwestern croon. The Lowest Pair will be backed by a full band, while keeping one foot planted in the rootsy aesthetics which drew them together from the beginning. Anna Tivel will open the show. Idaho Nature Conservation Book Release & Fashion Show
June 10th, 2017 | 7PM – 11PM

When natural scenery meets talented models, absolute beauty pours out. Virginia Treat of Treats Photography and her team of creatives conducted a nature conservation initiative with a series of photo shoots throughout 2016. Virginia utilized a variety of images and produced a photo book, calendars, prints and more. 100% of the proceeds will benefit a variety of nature conservation facilities. Join us for the Book Release Event at Studio Boise including a fashion show with the models in the costumes. World Village After Party

How does one close out a three day festival of celebrating all of Boise’s communities? With an after party, of course! Head to the Neuroluxat 10PM and continue the celebration! Performing will be Easy Star All Stars, an international reggae act known for their musical versatility, instrumental prowess, beautiful vocal harmonies, and premier rhythm section, and The Elovaters, a Boston-based reggae band who has been spreading their unique brand of reggae along the East Coast.
