BOISE — The Boise Public library has a virtual reality system at all of their branches that anybody can use to explore new worlds and have different experiences.

The library received the virtual reality system at their main branch two years ago and it came with a $2,500 price tag, it was paid for by donations.

The price of this new technology has dropped to about $800 but that doesn't count the cost of the gaming computer that was the most high tech computer in Boise when it was purchased according to library staff.

That's what makes this equipment so special, anybody can go try out virtual reality for free at the library, you just need to book an appointment.

Here is a linkto where you can reserve time on the virtual reality system.

6 on Your Side's Steve Dent decided to book some time on the VR system to play Beat Saber and he shows you in the video why skipping the gym for the library doesn't mean you have to miss out on a workout.
