Getting rid of prescription drugs properly is a good start to preventing the abuse of those drugs. This Saturday, the 28th, the DEA is sponsoring it's annual nationwide "take-back" program.
Sites around the Treasure Valley will be accepting prescription drugs.
You can drop off expired and excess pills at the Fred Meyer in Garden City the Ada County Sheriffs Office, Meridian Saint Lukes and many other places around the valley.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can get rid of medications. The service is free no questions asked.
