BOISE, ID — Idahoans, it's time to raise up your glass and cheers to April, Idaho Craft Beer Month.

The annual month of recognition highlights all of the amazing brews and ciders that the Gem State cooks up, and it's not hard to find a new favorite Idaho beer with 54 homegrown breweries around the state.

Even more amazing, you can find 22 of those breweries here in the Treasure Valley alone! It's not just your average Joe or Jolene that gets excited for Idaho Craft Beer Month, it's a time for those who make the beer to get together with other breweries and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

"Definitely the whole state celebrates in their own ways at their own breweries, but it is encouraged to go and check out the other breweries and see what other people are doing and travel around the whole state. Sometimes we get stuck in our Boise bubble and visit just the local ones, but they're are so many awesome breweries around the entire state so it does give us a chance to go and brew with some of those," said Owner and Marketing Director of Payette Brewing Paige Francis.

Boise Craft Beer Month will officially kick off this Thursday with Pints Up Idaho, where you can visit several different locations around Boise, pick up a collector's pint glass, and try one of Idaho's finest beers.
