Our warming trend continues for the next couple of days, bringing very summer-like conditions to this first full week of May. Boise is expected to reach a high of around 83 degrees this afternoon, with SE winds of 10-15 mph helping us warm even more.
Wednesday is shaping up to be the hottest day of the week – look for highs to hit the mid to upper 80s around the Treasure Valley. Late-day clouds will build in, though, as instability develops in the Pacific Northwest. That will bring the possibility of isolated thunderstorms to southwest Idaho by late Wednesday, and conditions will remain unsettled and a little cooler through the start of the weekend.
