Although the Yotes lost today 26 to 14 to #25 Montana Western, they had some good takeaways from today’s game. C of I’s defense showed that they play with the best of them.

The College of Idaho limited Western to just 234 yards of total offense, including 99 yards on 41 carries. It’s the fewest number of total yards allowed since football returned in 2014.

Yotes’ Malik Whitfield had an interception today, and the Coyotes had 3 sacks on the day. College of Idaho will return to action next Saturday, travelling to Willamette.
