The Countdown is just 24 days away from the start of football for the College of Idaho this weekend, the Coyotes open fall camp in preparation for their Sept. 3 matchup with No. 25 Montana Western.
The Yotes, coming off of consecutive 4-7 seasons The team report today, with the first on-field practice slated for Saturday morning at Simplot Stadium.
All practices will be open to the public – with the squad tentatively having five double practice days – along with a pair of scrimmages.
The Purple and Gold Scrimmage, set for Aug. 21 at 6 p.m., will close out the opening week of practice.
The season opener against Montana Western is one of eight games this season against a team ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Preseason Top-25 poll.
