It was a solid offensive performance for Senior wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck on Thursday Night against BYU.

Sperbeck grabbed nine passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.  Along with those number, he also made the history books.

Sperbeck’s 20-yard reception in the first quarter put him at 3,075 career receiving yards passing Titus Young at 3,063 as Boise State’s all-time leader.

Sperbeck currently sits at 3,139 yards for his career.  He said today in front of the media that he is glad to have the record and it’s something he was wanting for a while.

“I’m very proud of it, it is something I’ll look back on when I’m done playing.  It was pretty cool what I was able to accomplish.  Obviously, I’ve been a part of a lot of good offenses this year, with a lot of good quarterbacks.  Those guys have been a huge part of it.  Obviously, I could it without the offensive line and other receivers, and the running backs.  It’s more of a team effort it's a team accomplishment,” said, Senior Wide Receiver Thomas Sperbeck.
