Special teams for the Broncos is a job that requires a lot of down time and it gives players a personality that might be different than regular players playing every down on the field.
Specialist are not always on the field so the players get the chance to visit and collaborate on the sidelines and learn more about one another.
The downtime brings them closer together which keeps their mindset ready to go when they have to perform.
"I think because we are off on our own all the time that we just grow insane. Specialist are definitely a weird bunch. We don't need to be fired up ready to run thru a wall we need to kind of have level heads I think the joking and all that is all fun buts there's also a purpose behind it," said Senior Punter Sean Wale.
