Just like the Nevada game two weeks ago, Boise State coaches will be spending some extra time educating his players on the importance of this game.

The rivalry between Boise State and Fresno State dates back to 1977, and the Broncos have won the last two meetings, including the 2014 Mountain West championship game.

Last year the Bulldogs only one game this year they are 8 and three. And with so many Broncos hailing from the Golden State, the bar is raised even higher.

"I mean I think that's what makes college football great is just the tradition and the rivalries and everything that goes along with it as we switch and don't play for two years and all that stuff it goes away but not really I think it's important to remind our guys the things in the past and the tradition and stuff like that," said Defensive Coordinator Andy Avalos.

It's an awesome rivalry Coach Hill was there for a long time and all the tradition has gone you know they have done a really nice job this year." said Andy Avalos.
