Montana Western withstood a late College of Idaho rally to claim a 70-69 victory in the final game of the Domino’s Classic inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Yotes (7-2) rallied from an 11-point deficit inside the final five minutes, using a 12-0 run to take a 66-65 lead on a Joey Nebeker free throw inside the final minute. C of I led 69-67 after Emanuel Morgan made the first of two free throw chances with six seconds remaining, but missed the second. Western (6-1) rushed the ball up the floor, with Brian Neal double-teamed in the center circle – squirting a pass to Smalls, who heaved an attempt as the horn sounded – finding the twine for the win.

Nebeker led C of I with 22 points and Morgan had 13 points and seven assists.
