The Idaho Steelheads have brought their lead scorer, Rob Linsmayer back. He returns for his fourth full season in Idaho after setting career highs in goals, assists, and points just last season. Linsmayer finished the year with 21 goals. Those stats bumped him up to a third place rank in the league.

Linsmayer enters this season two points shy of 100 for his professional career, and his 96 points in Idaho have him sitting pretty at 12th on the Steelheads’ all-time scoring list. In 135 regular season games with the Steelies, Linsmayer has netted 40 goals. In addition, he has scored three goals and eight points in 16 playoff games.

“He’s a guy I can lean on in any situation, and I expect him to build on his success from last season,” said Head Coach Neil Graham.

Your next chance to see the Steelheads in action will be at their preseason game at CenturyLink Arena on October 11th against the Utah Grizzlies. If you want to attend that game, you will need a season ticket, as that game is reserved for season ticket holders.
