The Mountain West men’s basketball schedule for the 2016-17 season was made official today.  The Broncos will open league play at Utah State. The Broncos will not host UNLV and will not travel to San Diego State.

The Broncos travel to UNLV for a mid-week game Jan. 3 or 4. The budding rivalry between Boise State and San Diego State will only write one regular-season chapter next year, as the Aztecs visit Taco Bell Arena for the first weekend of 2017.

The home finale for Boise State will be Feb. 28 or March 1, against Fresno State. It is the second time in three years the Broncos will host the Bulldogs on Senior Day.

Boise State will have byes Jan. 10/11 and Feb. 7/8.

The Broncos are the only team in the Mountain West this season to have both byes fall during the middle of the week.

The Broncos are still finalizing their nonconference schedule.
