The bye week for the Bronco’s is in the rear view mirror as the team will be on the road this weekend to square off against Oregon State.

It will be the second straight game they will square off against a Pac-12 opponent.  This season the Mountain West has struggled against the Pac-12 going just 2-6 with the Broncos looking to go 2-0 against the Beavers.

This weekend’s series will be just the ninth meeting between the two schools and the Broncos are just 3-5 against Oregon State.  For the team anytime you have a chance at playing a power five conference there is a little bit more motivation.

“A lot of people obviously think the Mountain West isn’t as strong as the other conferences out there so that’s how we have to gain our respect.  I feel like we step up to the challenge.

You see the history of Boise State and they have done a great job stepping up to the challenge when they play Pac-12 teams but we got to continue to bring that mindset whenever we play a Pac-12 team,” said, Senior Offensive Lineman Mario Yakoo.
