Boise State had 96 student-athletes across its winter and spring sports named to the Spring 2016 Academic All-Mountain West Team.
Overall, the conference honored a record 993 student-athletes on the team. Selected student-athletes maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better while completing at least one academic term at their respective institutions and being a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
For Boise State, women’s swimming and diving led the way with 22 selections.
Boise State track & field had 35 student-athletes selected, with 18 coming from the women’s side and 17 from the men’s team. Softball was next with 13 selections, followed by women’s tennis (eight), women’s basketball (five), men’s basketball and women’s golf (four apiece), men’s golf (three) and men’s tennis (two).
