BSU 3-peat as MRGC Champions now off to Nationals

Logan,UT - The 11th Ranked Boise State Gymnastics team picked up their third straight MRGC title by defeating Utah State, Southern Utah, and BYU. The final score was the highest team score at a conference championship in school history.

Shani Remme won the all-around title and later was announced as the MRGC gymnast of the year. Co-Head coaches Neil Resnick and Tina Bird were named Co-Coaches of the year, which adds to their honor of the same title last year. Sarah Means shared the Vault title and Diana Mejia earned the outright win on uneven bars.

The Broncos lead the conference with 16 all MRGC* honors. Looking ahead, Boise State will now wait to see where they will be sent to the NCAA regional. That will take place Monday.

*The various event specialists of the year awards were determined by which individual had the highest RQS on the season in the respective events. The Gymnast, Freshman, and Coach of the Year honors were voted on by the conference's coaches.
