The Boise State track and field team will send seven women and seven men to regionals in Austin, Texas beginning tomorrow.

On the men's side, it will be highlighted by the 4 by 400 relay team.  The team is coming off some phenomenal work at the Mountain West Championships where they broke the school record by one-hundredth of a second.

In total, the four sprinters accounted for 50 of the men's 92 team points at the conference championships as they look to make a big stride in Texas.

"We started getting so many good results it's just funny how we are so different with different events I just think we all work together and we go for it," said, Senior Hurdler and Sprinter Fernando Martinez.

You get four guys together who are highly competitive it's the last event of the day and they want to do well.  So they are going to live it all out on the track.  I don't think there's much I have to do as a coach," said, Assistant Coach Gavin O’Neal.
