Phil Steele has released the Preseason top 25 and Boise State made the cut. The Broncos were picked at the 16th spot right behind UCLA and ahead of Ole Miss.
Boise State was also the only team from the Mountain West Conference to make the preseason poll. Steele has four big ten teams ranked inside the top 15 and a total of five from the SEC.
