The Steelheads have agreed to terms on an ECHL contract with defenseman Corbin Baldwin.  Through 144 regular season games, Baldwin has a plus-38 rating, the highest of any Steelheads player.

Last season, Baldwin collected two goals, 13 points, and 130 penalty minutes in 72 games, while also appearing in all five of Idaho’s playoff games.

“Corbin is a top defender in our league and is well-respected in our room for his hard-nosed play and his ability to shut down other teams’ top lines,” said Head Coach Neil Graham.

He has collected five goals and 33 points while not missing a regular season game in Idaho, playing in all 72 contests in each of his past two seasons.

Baldwin has played 324 professional games split between the Steelheads, Alaska Aces, and Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL, the Houston Aeros/Iowa Wild in the AHL, and the Allen Americans and Quad City Mallards (at that time in the Central Hockey League).
