One coach, you won’t see on the sidelines this year is former Co-Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach, Scott Huff. Huff left Boise State after taking the Offensive Line job at the University of Washington under former Boise State Head Coach, Chris Petersen. Harsin said there’s no timetable for the new hire yet.

“I’m not in a tremendous hurry because of the guys we have here on staff,” Harsin said. “Even the defensive coaches to keep those guys’ morale up.”

This morning former Bronco Linemen and graduate assistant Nate Potter, lead the offensive line today along with Director of Program Development, Chris Ross. Harsin said that although the team will miss Huff, the team will keep pushing along and preparing for this season.

"We are ready to roll,” Harsin said. “To be honest with you, it’s probably good timing for us because we are out there. We are out on the field now. Football is happening. These guys are getting the chance to actually compete and play now. We just have to figure out who the next guy is, and who comes in here and fits best. (Who will) help us get better.”
