Dancing with the Broncos: Day one in Dayton
Roland Beres and Paul Gerke arrive in Ohio
The Boise State basketball team arrived in Dayton, Ohio at around 10PM ET Monday night. The Broncos will face the La Salle Explorers at the University of Dayton on Wednesday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
It's a quick turnaround for Boise State, which learned it had earned its first-ever at-large NCAA Tournament berth Sunday afternoon.
"The beauty of it is that (athletic director) Mark Coyle has been through this a lot, so I don't have to worry about anything other than coaching a game," said Broncos head coach Leon Rice.
"We're scrambling to get our scouting reports and get our film organized. It's such a short turnaround. They don't know much about us, and we don't know much about them," Rice added.
The Broncos will appear before the media in Dayton at 1:35 ET on Tuesday, and then host an open practice immediately following.
