Rio Grande Valley Vipers bite Idaho Stampede
Stampede fall to 13-26
The Idaho Stampede (13-26) lost to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Wednesday night, 114-102.
Justin Holiday scored 29 points and added five steals in the loss. Jason Ellis chipped in eight points and 14 rebounds. The Stampede trailed by just two with 3:20 left in the fourth quarter, but Rio Grande Valley closed the game on a 12-2 run.
Seven Vipers finished in double-figures, including Glen Rice Jr. (28 points, 13 rebounds) and Royce White (19 points, seven rebounds, six assists).
Idaho will host Tulsa on Friday and Saturday, donning specially-made green jerseys to celebrate St. Patrick's day.
