Borah captures back-to-back 5A basketball titles
Wright scores 21 in defeat of rival Rocky Mountain
On February 1st, the Rocky Mountain boys basketball squad snapped Borah's 40 game win streak.
The Lions responded by winning the District 3 title a couple weeks later, and then exacted the ultimate revenge Saturday night, defeating the Grizzlies 47-44 in the 5A state championship.
Isaiah Wright led Borah with 21 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Teammate Joe Nelson chipped in 10 points and eight rebounds.
Matt Grooms topped the stat sheet for Rocky Mountain with 15 points.
Borah has won back-to-back state championships in the 5A division.
