Drmic sparks offense; Boise State downs Air Force
Drmic: 21 of 23 points in second half
When the Broncos visited the Falcons a month ago, Boise State left Colorado Springs with its second-straight league loss, thanks in large part to the efforts of Michael Lyons. The Air Force senior guard dropped 37 points on BSU back in January, but was held to just 10 Wednesday night at Taco Bell Arena, as Boise State rolled to a 77-65 win.
Anthony Drmic led the Broncos with 23 points, 21 of which were scored in the second half. Sharpshooter Jeff Elorriaga carried the load in the first half, scoring 14 of his 17 in the opening 20 minutes.
Boise State (17-8, 5-6 MWC) led by as much as 21 in the second half. The Broncos will visit the Fresno State Bulldogs on Saturday.
