Bishop Kelly claims first girls basketball state title
5 other Idaho teams crowned champions
The Bishop Kelly girls basketball team won its first-ever 4A state championship, defeating Century 50-40 at the Idaho Center Saturday night.
Senior guard Kindall Murie led the Knights with 13 points. Junior forward Raquelle Mouw added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
Bishop Kelly wasn't the only school to win its first title on Saturday- in fact, five of the six squads to win a championship did so for the first time in their current division.
