The Boise State swimming and diving team hosted its final home meet of the season Saturday afternoon, and the girls were forced to share the pool with more than just their competition.
Three members of the Broncos football team- Dillon Lukeheart, Corey Bell, and Charles Leno Jr.- took a shot at emulating their collegiate diving counterparts in the 5th Annual Big Splash.
Lukeheart was eliminated by the judges (members of the diving team) after his first plunge, leaving Leno Jr. and Bell to compete for first-place. Leno executed a painful-looking belly flop, earning "10's" from the panel, but Bell's face-first somersault garnered a "10.5" and a gasp from the crowd, ensuring him the win.
Wide receiver Geraldo Boldewjin won the event last year.
