Tyler Gron tallied a pair of goals in his Steelheads debut Friday night, as Idaho beat Alaska 6-2 in front of a sellout crowd.
Austin Fyten scored two goals as well, helping the Steelies improve to 15-2-2 at Centurylink Arena this season.
Idaho will face Alaska again Saturday night at 7:10pm.
