The Idaho Steelheads continued their dominance over the Bakersfield Condors Friday night, winning 7-2 at Centurylink Arena.

Idaho is now 5-0-0-2 against Bakersfield this season.

Defenseman Matt Case opened the scoring early in the first period with a powerplay tally from the left faceoff circle. Austin Fyten added a second tally just a couple minutes later, utilizing a nifty backhand deke to beat the Condors' keeper.

Jeremie Blain scored in the second, giving Idaho a 3-1 cushion after two periods.

Austin Smith added two beautiful goals in the third, leading a 4-goal frame alongside Sam Carrick and Mathieu Tousignant.

Idaho will face Bakersfield again Saturday night.
