Broncos prepare for MAACO Bowl
Players amped to be back in Vegas
The Boise State football team has kept busy this week in Las Vegas, as the 19th-ranked Broncos prepare for the 21st annual MAACO Bowl.
On Thursday, the Broncos visited the Opportunity Village to meet with fans. A little later, select players helped with a shoe distribution on behalf of the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation. After their final practice, the team took in a performance by the Blue Man Group.
Boise State will make its third consecutive appearance in the Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday.
"It's kind of like a second home," noted senior cornerback Jamar Taylor.
"We know what to expect. We know the ins and outs... and how to stay focused and stay away from all the Vegas life."
Head Coach Chris Petersen seemed to understand the potential pitfalls of "Sin City."
"There's only one place in the world like Las Vegas, we all know that."
