Steelheads fall short to Wranglers
Las Vegas wins, 3-2
The Idaho Steelheads have been nearly unstoppable at home this season. After dropping their opener to Utah, the Steelies had gone 8-0-1 since. That is, until the Wranglers found a way to win at CenturyLink Arena.
Las Vegas avenged Friday's 6-3 defeat with a 3-2 win Saturday. The Wranglers held a 2-0 lead in the third period until Kael Mouillierat and Jacob Cepis knotted the score at 2-apiece. However, Judd Blackwater tallied the game-winner with just over 3 minutes to play.
The Steelheads are now 8-2-1 at home, and will host the Colorado Eagles next Wednesday.
