Last week, the Broncos debuted at 22nd in the first BCS standings. That was, in large part, thanks to the computers, which ranked Boise State 20th... Higher than either the Coaches' or Harris Polls.

This week, the computers turned their metal, micro-chipped backs on the Broncos, slotting them 24th. In fact, three of the six computer algorithms didn't rank Boise State at all.

As a result, the Broncos only moved up one spot in the standings, to 21st. This is in spite of BSU vaulting up the other polls. Boise State went from from 24th to 21st in the AP Poll, 22nd to 18th in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. and 23rd to 19th in the Harris Poll.

Several teams that threaten Boise State's BCS-busting potential also made moves. Michigan is now ranked 22nd in the BCS; Ohio is 24th, and Wisconsin is 25th.
