J.C. Percy has finished second on the team in tackles in each of the last two seasons. To some, that sort of production would be sufficient- excellent, perhaps. But not to J.C.

The Bronco linebacker has been talking since fall camp about leaving an impact on the Boise State football program in his senior season. Through four games, it appears Percy isn't messing around. He led BSU with a season-high 13 tackles in New Mexico last weekend, his second straight game with 10 or more. J.C. has 38 on the year, setting the pace ahead of fellow seniors Tommy Smith and Dextrell Simmons- a high level of production that comes as no surprise to the Boise State coaching staff.
