Thursday's match-up between Boise State and BYU is just the third all-time meeting between the two schools, but the Broncos and Cougars are about to become fast friends.  The game is the first of a 12 year agreement between the schools to play every season until 2023.

BYU is perhaps the biggest game on BSU's home schedule.  The Broncos are fresh off their 39-12 win over Miami, Ohio, but the Cougars are reeling from a tough loss to Utah.  Kicker Riley Stephenson missed a 36-yard field goal that would've forced overtime, instead Brigham Young lost 24-21 and fell out of the AP Top 25 poll.

Cougar's senior quarterback Riley Nelson has thrown for over 700 yards and 5 TD's, in addition to racking up 29 carries over three games. This presents a different set of problems for the Bronco defense, which shut down Miami scrambler Zac Dysert last week.
