A St. Anthony Work Camp inmate is back in custody after stealing a car at his work site, swapping it for a pick-up a short distance away, and then crashing the pick-up. The incident happened at a rural Fremont County job site Saturday afternoon.
Austin Warren Mitchell, #110093, was taken into custody at the accident site, and then booked into the Fremont County Jail. Mitchell could face new charges including escape, grand theft, and driving under the influence.
Mitchell is 23 years old. He was serving time for possession of a controlled substance out of Bingham County.
