A woman has been arrested by the Boise Police Department after she allegedly tried to entice an 11-year-old boy.
BPD responded to a report of child enticement near the intersection of Roosevelt Street and Rose Hill Street just after 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Witnesses told police that the boy was approached by a woman who attempted to entice the boy to go with her. BPD did not specify if that request was sexual or not.
The boy refused and told a known adult who then contacted police.
Officers found the suspect, identified as Stephanie J. Beavers, 32, near Emerald Street and Latah Street and charged her with child enticement and disorderly conduct.
