With Fall weather moving in the valley, Bogus Basin is bidding farewell to summer this weekend.

Their free Music on the Mountain series comes to a close Saturday.

Activities, however, will continue through Labor Day with chairlift rides where you can also take your bike up the mountain with you and ride down.

The last opportunity to hear live music at the lodge is on Sunday, Sept. 4 from 3-6 p.m.

There is a cost associated with the chairlift rides.

Saturday also marked the end of the floating season for the Boise River.

It was the last day of operations at Barber Park in Boise.

The 62 degree water didn't stop some folks from taking one final dip in the river.

Some visitors Six On Your Side spoke with didn't realize it was the last day for rentals. They were just hoping for a scenic way to relax.

"Even though it's cooler than I think any of us wanted, we're just wearing full clothing," said Lindsey Mueller, who was visiting from L.A. "We're doing it anyway because we really wanted to get on the river no matter what the weather."

"Yes, yes and hopefully we don't fall in," added Barbara Viso, of Dallas.

Although rentals will no longer be offered at Barber Park, the air pump stations near the launch point will stay up and running as long as the weather allows.
