The Nagel foundation has awarded the Warhawk Air Museum a $50,000 grant. The museum plans to expand its collection -- much of which is donated by veterans -- to include 9/11 and The War in Afghanistan.

"The history in this museum will never be changed," said Sue Paul, Executive Director and Co-founder of the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa. "It will never be altered. it is exactly what it is, because the veterans themselves left these memories here.  It's a very unique museum and the John F. Nagel foundation has believed in this mission for many years."

The museum says it plans to use the money to help them raise other money that will enable the expansion, and continue their educational mission of reminding people that "the price of freedom... isn't free," says Paul.
