We now the name of the Middleton High School student killed in yesterday’s roll over crash. The Canyon County Coroner says 16-year-old Ashtyn Walsh died at scene.

The crash happened on Hartly Lane Wednesday afternoon. Two other Middleton High School female students were also in the pickup during the crash. They were transported to area hospitals. We don't know the condition of the other girls.

Counselors from across the school district have been called in to help grieving students at both the middle school and high school. Over a dozen students also held a prayer vigil at the school before the start of classes.

"I'm just really impressed that this community in just a short amount of time has really rallied behind again this tragedy to help support the family," said Middleton School District Superintendent Dr. Josh Middleton.

The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho state police. Walsh was driving and was not wearing a seat belt. They don't believe drugs or alcohol where involved.
