POST FALLS, ID – Two men died in a single vehicle crash on I-90 early Sunday.
On June 26th, at 12:51 a.m., Robert L Gust, 24, of Bonner Ferry was traveling westbound I-90 at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate the curve on the off ramp at exit 7.
The vehicle rolled into the median, crossed over the westbound on ramp and came to rest on the bottom of the embankment at Primrose lane.
Gust was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, Christopher J Erickson, 25, of Deland, Florida, was transported to Kootenai Health where he succumbed to his injuries.
The other passenger, Colton B Teleford, 23, of Moyie Springs was transported to Kootenai Health for treatment of his injuries.
Gust and Erickson were not wearing the seatbelts. Next of kin has been notified.
