Lyle Croson, 34, and Mykle Blumenshine, 28, of Boise have now been charged with aiding and abetting second degree murder in connection with the October 26 shooting death of Paul Russell, 30, in Garden City, according to a news release from the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office.
Elena Pena, 27, had previously been charged with aiding and abetting aggravated battery. Ada County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Shelly Akamatsu says Pena’s charge will be amended to aiding and abetting second degree murder during her preliminary hearing scheduled for next Monday.
Garden City Police arrested both Pena and Croson October 21 at a Boise gas station. Both are in the Ada County Jail.
Blumenshine was arrested by Garden City Police Sunday, and was also booked into the Ada County Jail.
Blumenshine and Croson are set to be arraigned Friday on the newly-filed charges.
