A teen boy involved in a Friday afternoon standoff with police in Kuna has died.
According to the Ada County Coroner, Christian Alexander Page, 14, was pronounced dead at 7:05 pm on August 27, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise.
According to reports, Page was taken to the hospital after being involved in an hours-long standoff with police.
The standoff started when police tried to make contact with Page inside the home of a friend.
Page was wanted in connection to multiple crimes in the area including the theft of two guns belonging to a family member.
Crisis negotiators were on the phone with Page for hours. It was only after police learned of a gunshot that they entered the home. The boy was then taken to the hospital with a self-inflicted gunshot
