Dr. Jonathan Myers has Borah, at last count having raised all but $4,500 of his fundraising goal of  $125,000 for new medical equipment for St. Luke's Hospital in Magic Valley.

"Feeling really grateful," said Dr. Meyers from atop Mt. Borah shortly after having submitted. "Just such an awesome team that helped me up here. It was really, really touching."

Dr. Meyers is the medical director of rehabilitation at St. Luke's, a career path inspired by a cervical spine accident that paralyzed him 16 years ago.

The new equipment he wants to buy is a Neurocom Balance Master System.  He says he wants to have one in Magic Valley so that patients won't have to travel to Boise for therapy.
