With the holidays just around the corner, your might be tempted to bring out the Christmas lights and turn up the heat. Which could mean a big hit to your pocketbook because of all of that electricity?
Idaho Power has teamed up with libraries throughout the state to bring you energy efficiency kits.
Beth Neunaber said the kits are designed to help monitor your energy usage and learn how you can save money.
"To help you make better decisions about the devices you are using or whether you are leaving them plugged in while you are not using them or whether you need to replace the device," Neunaber said.
You can check out these kits for two weeks at a time at your local public library.
